Taylor Pick, of Calverton, Jonathan Beretta, of Centereach, and Maureen Serra, of Lake Ronkonkoma, were taken into custody by law enforcement for their roles in allegedly coercing minors to engage in sexually explicit conduct.

A fourth suspect, Benjamin Downs, of Massachusetts, was also charged.

According to the indictment, the four coerced four minors to engage in sexually explicit conduct to produce and distribute videos and pictures between January last year through this month. They were scheduled to appear in federal court in Central Islip this week.

The indictment says that the four conspired to “induce, entice and coerce” four minors “to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing one or more visual depictions of such conduct, including images and video, knowing that the images/video would enter interstate commerce by one or more means such as U.S Mail and the Internet.”

The ages of the four minors - two boys and two girls - have not been released. No other information on the case has been disclosed by prosecutors.

Each of the four has been charged with multiple counts of sexual exploitation by a child. If convicted, they will face up to 30 years in prison. All four are in custody and scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday, March 4 in Central Islip.
